A golf outing to remember?

Hello classmates; I made the mistake of asking Mr. Johnson if he would be setting up any activities that will coincide with our reunion that he has so graciously taken over. He asked what I had in mind and being a bookworm in school I thought it might be fun to get outside and learn the game of golf. So after a few days of research I have come up with this format; a four person team consisting of either four boys, four girls, two boys and two girls or any other ratio that would be suitable to the team. My favorite would be one boy and three girls, but I don't think Judy would go for that?
I like the best ball scramble format; everyone gets to hit their ball, but we never seem to play mine? This keeps the round moving and the frustration low. I think that only the competitive people should keep score and the rest of us should yell back and forth across the fairways at each other and have fun. We could pay a little extra and have a few prize holes, but why donate money to the jocks?
I believe in majority ruling and here are some golf courses to vote on.
Eagles Crossing, Mayapple, Range End, Rich Valley and Silver Springs
My vote is for Silver Springs because it is back out of the way, never crowded, and has a nice little bar and inside or outside seating.
And the final thing to vote on is the day, Friday the 23, Saturday the 24 or Sunday the 25? I like Friday because I need to burn vacation at work, but the majority will rule.
Oh and maybe you could pick a classmate that you haven't seen in decades and shame them into playing. And the bookworm thing; Cheryl Foore Gilbert can confirm that I was the biggest bookworm in the class of 79.
I'm looking forward to hosting and hopefully making a day to remember! Pat "The Bookworm" Wentz
P.S. Jeff has to put together a new survey now!
