Stephen S. Dukes, 61, of York Haven died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill. He was the owner operator of Dukes Tax Service and Taxxman Payroll Solutions. At one time he was employed by Traffax Command Center as a producer and known as "Sky King'. He enjoyed anything: muscle cars, Jeeps, concerts, music (especially Pink Floyd), the beach, vacations, slinging insults, and sarcasm. Steve was always prepared with a joke, was a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles, adored all dogs in his life, and last but not least, his 67 Chevy Camaro RS convertible. He was born November 8th, 1960 in Harrisburg to the late James R. and Barbara Ann (Drake) Dukes. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Dukes; children, Nichole L. Reisinger (Michael) of Duncannon, Tarah D. Fisher (Jacob) of Etters, Nicole L. Morton (Randy) of Camp Hill, Shawn M. Carney (Sue) of Mechanicsburg, Tommy J. Carney of Berwyn, Joey R. Bateman of Van Nuys, CA, and Michael P. Bateman of Jacksonville, FL; Golden Retrievers, Chelsea and F'n Frank; brothers, Jim of Carlisle and Jeffrey of Mechanicsburg; sister, Michelle LaBelle (Bernie) of Williamsport; grandchildren, Makayla, Dontae, Jade, Riley, Cameron, Maura, Sofia, Ryan, Henry, Brielle, Oliver, William, and Eliose; great-grandchildren, Maci, David, and Oakleigh; and several nieces and nephews. We would like to let all his friends and clients know that Steve very much appreciated each and every one of you and all your support over the years. Viewing will be from 1:30 until funeral services at 3pm Wednesday, December 1st, at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Casual attire is welcome. Following CDC guidelines to protect children and the vulnerable, masks are required in the funeral home.
