James Schubert Jr., 63, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Germantown, Maryland.

Born on March 5, 1961, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, James-affectionately known as Jamie-grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg. He continued his education at Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Jamie was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 27 years, Gloria Schubert. He cherished his children, Sean and Shannon Schubert, and took immense pride in their accomplishments. His dedication to his family was unwavering; he worked tirelessly to provide for them and treasured every moment spent together.

A passionate sports fan, Jamie had a deep love for baseball and football, cheering enthusiastically for the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Beyond sports, he found joy in simple yet meaningful moments-spending summers gardening with his family and listening to his favorite 80s music.

Jamie is survived by his beautiful, loving & devoted wife Gloria Schubert, a son Sean and a daughter, Shannon. He also leaves behind a sister, Stephanie Schubert of Pennsylvania; his uncle and aunt, Dr. Joseph Cooney and his wife Mary of Alabama; and his aunt Racheal Hendricks of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Schubert Sr. and Lois Schubert (Cooney).

His family misses him dearly and will always remember the love and dedication he brought into their lives. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
