My amazing outdoor man son who enjoys hunting, fishing, and everything else outdoors. He continues to serve his country in the military. They recently transferred to the lower 48 from Alaska.

Derek spent several days skating at an Invitational Unified skating event sponsored by Apolo Ohno. He was paired with Olympic medalists from past Olympics. It was a dream come true for him!!

I recently helped a friend complete her first 50 mile bike ride to celebrate her birthday (50 years young).

My son Derek who is a Special Olympian who has been inducted into the Hall of Fame, competed at World Games in Japan and skated with his idol Apolo Ohno in Salt Lake City. He continues to amaze me with his athletic ability and positive attitude!!
