After nearly two decades in Philadelphia baking pretzels and frying cheesesteaks, I concluded that the air there had too much oxygen. So, in 2005, the family and I moved to Colorado.

School Story:

The famed rumble between McKinley and Blake, circa 1975 (McKinley wore his football uniform, HA). The Big Swig (a great guy who later tended bar at the Carlisle G-man when I was in law school there). Working for Balog's dad with John Paul Grove, Ed and Dave Davis (although calling it work is a bit of an exaggeration). Summer hoops at the Hampden pool.

Had a Class of 79 mini-reunion here in Denver last night 11/28/16. Steve Kosier was in town from his adventures abroad so he and his wife Jackie met my wife Lynne and me for dinner. Steve brought with him this unbelievable flag, signed by the many Peshmerga fighters wit whom he works, defusing IEDs -- very dangerous work. In the middle of the flag -- in their native language -- "Long Live the USA." It was a great night with two great people.
